This is NOT an avalanche report or even a devoted snow report. In fact -- for the purposes of powder preservation -- sometimes I make up mountains when I don't feel like sharing what peak/line I actually skied that day. I focus on the quality of the snow, the weather conditions I encountered, and what aspects/elevations I think will ski good in the near future (focusing on skiing quality not snowpack safety).
For Bridger Teton Avalanche conditions check here.
For Jackson Hole weather conditions check here.
Scroll through my "Powder Journal" for more photos and trip reports from the winter of 2012/2013 and an archive going all the way back to the winter 2008/2009.
NOTE: SOMETIMES THE MODULE BELOW DOES NOT LOAD PROPERLY. SIMPLY RELOAD THIS WEBPAGE AND IT SHOULD COME UP PROPERLY.
RIGHT CLICK ANY LINKS BELOW AND "OPEN IN A NEW TAB" OR THINGS GET A LITTLE SCREWY.
It was super easy to embed this module here at OuterLocal. All I did was copy and paste it off of Skiing The Backcountry. If you like sharing trip reports in a really cool and easy to share format, this seems to be working well for me. I can embed this module in any webpage which makes sharing at a number of different sites very easy.
If you want to know what gear I'm using in the Tetons this winter, check out my extensive gear list here.
