This set of photographs nicely shows how jet trails can rapidly turn into a high cirrus haze. The longstanding scientific consensus is that cirrus clouds have a warming impact on Earth's climate. Max Mogren
Jackson Skyscape on 3/14/2013. The sky was filled with a high haze and temps topped out at 59.8*F, 1.2*F less than the all time record high set in 1992. Plane traffic contributed to the haze. Max Mogren

Today it almost hit 60°F in Jackson, Wyoming. This was 1.2°F off the all time high of 61°F set in 1994. Our lower mountain snowpack is totally trashed and fading fast.
